I was riding Line 5 today heading to Mount Dennis, and they already have announcements at Caledonia to transfer to the Barrie Line… Are the GO platforms even anywhere near half as done yet?

Actually they always run late night buses at the bus terminal up until 2-3am on each GO line after the final trains depart Union. GO bus route 18 is the bus equivalent to the LW line, and there are buses at 1:05am and 2:30am at Union Bus Terminal that go straight to Port Credit first before...

They definitely waited way too late to announce all these changes happening in only 5 days from now. If it was at least 2 weeks notice then people would have time to adjust. But opening the most anticipated rail line ever in the province on top of multiple bus changes on the same day, let alone...

If Line 5 does open on Feb 8, it would be interesting to see if it could run in snow storms unlike Finch, or if they would turn back trains at Laird at the very least as the underground section obviously wouldn’t have snow to deal with.

This is a bad look for BT heading into the new year, especially as the whole return to office thing starts in January. For the 561 getting reduced to 30 mins, you could make an argument that it’s on a corridor that isn’t as busy as the other Zum routes and the 1 does see higher ridership...

Its great that GO buses will go to Humber but its a little confusing on where it would go as most of the nearby GO hubs are already or will be serviced with local transit (Bramalea, Malton, Woodbine, Viscount/Pearson, Renforth, Sq One, Kipling, etc). 38 Bolton doesn’t exactly make sense unless...

Today was a great first day for the weekend Kitchener/Bramalea trains (despite the small equipment delays)... but unfortunately it gets cut short for next weekend. Least there will still be some train service.

This is probably why the Bramalea only trains aren't as busy on all days of the week compared to the Mount Pleasant and Kitchener bound ones. I know isn't a new line and a straight frequency upgrade, but compared to how much of an instant hit it was when weekend trains were first brought to...

Not sure why Metrolinx decides to run these 10/12 car trains on the Bramalea only service of the Kitchener line during mid days and are 90% empty most of the time, while the same section during peak hours, you would see only 6 cars operating. Is it because of limited equipment or do they do it...

Especially as they already do this on Fridays, so it clearly is a thing they could do for the weekends also. They do this exact same 2 bus every hour thing for the 12/12B at Burlington GO and it’s infuriating.

We finally have true 30 min service with mostly no gaps leaving Union to Bramalea, 30 min weekend service with at least some trains to Kitchener, all to overall compliment the Mount Dennis opening. This is the best service change for the entire line so far. Although there are still hourly gaps...
