    Brampton Transit/Zum

This is a bad look for BT heading into the new year, especially as the whole return to office thing starts in January. For the 561 getting reduced to 30 mins, you could make an argument that it’s on a corridor that isn’t as busy as the other Zum routes and the 1 does see higher ridership...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Its great that GO buses will go to Humber but its a little confusing on where it would go as most of the nearby GO hubs are already or will be serviced with local transit (Bramalea, Malton, Woodbine, Viscount/Pearson, Renforth, Sq One, Kipling, etc). 38 Bolton doesn’t exactly make sense unless...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

At this point do the TTC themselves even know that they’re opening on December 7?

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Today was a great first day for the weekend Kitchener/Bramalea trains (despite the small equipment delays)... but unfortunately it gets cut short for next weekend. Least there will still be some train service.

    Toronto Toronto | Union Pearson Express | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | MMM Group Limited

This is probably why the Bramalea only trains aren't as busy on all days of the week compared to the Mount Pleasant and Kitchener bound ones. I know isn't a new line and a straight frequency upgrade, but compared to how much of an instant hit it was when weekend trains were first brought to...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Not sure why Metrolinx decides to run these 10/12 car trains on the Bramalea only service of the Kitchener line during mid days and are 90% empty most of the time, while the same section during peak hours, you would see only 6 cars operating. Is it because of limited equipment or do they do it...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Especially as they already do this on Fridays, so it clearly is a thing they could do for the weekends also. They do this exact same 2 bus every hour thing for the 12/12B at Burlington GO and it’s infuriating.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

We finally have true 30 min service with mostly no gaps leaving Union to Bramalea, 30 min weekend service with at least some trains to Kitchener, all to overall compliment the Mount Dennis opening. This is the best service change for the entire line so far. Although there are still hourly gaps...

    miWay Transit

One thing that Brampton has over MiWay would be that at least all buses try their best to connect to one of the Zum routes whether they are on grid or not, so you wouldn't have to take more than 2 buses to most areas. MiWay needs to think more grid like, especially on their N-S corridors. You...

Only a week and a half in and Confederation is already getting cut back service.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Just to make it more clear, only Mount Dennis the station will be opening on November 16, nothing else. One week later on November 23, would be when all the additional weekend trains to Kitchener and Bramalea begin. Now to ask why they didn't just make one change for the 23rd only is beyond...

    Toronto Toronto | Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Mount Dennis opening a week before the weekend service to Kitchener and the additional weekend trains to Bramalea begins is a good start. Always felt like the GO/UP station should’ve opened sooner as even if the crosstown wouldn’t open due to another “incident”, you could still introduce a new...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

An express branch of the 48 would probably be better, starting at Hwy 407 Station and Bramalea, then skipping the entire milk run of the Hurontario and Meadowvale areas, and only stop at Hwy 401/25 P&R, Aberfoyle, and U of Guelph (or skip Aberfoyle and head straight up Highway 6 instead). Also...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

The biggest Kitchener line increase since 2023 and possibly the biggest train service increase of the year, this is all around incredible to finally see. One could see this as maybe a coincide for Mount Dennis and the Crosstown as a whole hopefully opening by then?

    Brampton Transit/Zum

I'd expect a random small change between now and the end of the year for the 5 Bovaird to go back to heading straight down Goreway again as the CN bridge is done and will open to the public on Friday. I think it was in one of these transit plans that they might re route the 5A to have it also...
