Checking out Nexbrick now because of @archited Cool product I guess. Hopefully someone local uses it in the WH district.

    The Parks | 146.91m | 45s | 35s | 13s | Pangman | Hariri Pontarini

Weird location for a tower at the moment. Once the area is built up by Westrich & Autograph that won't be the case. The park sure helps alot. I do think this build would have done much better in the short term on 104th St by the Arena.

Was there an issue with the ice plant? There hasn't been ice all year.

And somehow their governments have failed to deliver these beds. Priorities.

    Alberta Politics

Nothing of substance from the feds. Most provinces have made very little of progress on adding beds. This is a generational decision. The older voters decided from 2015-now that they don't value hospital beds. I don't agree with it whatsoever, but I was in highschool when these decisions were...

    Alberta Politics

The money spent on COVID testing in EVERY province could have built countless hospitals. This is bi-partisan incompetence. Adler and Gunter are so damn similar in their editorials, it's ridiculous.

    Edmonton | Stationlands Residential Towers | 90m | 25s | Qualico | DIALOG

Anything in Griffintown would be more comparable location wise to Stantec (lower floors) or Falcon. Homelessness in Griffentown is basically non-existent compared to by the Qualico lands.

Hopefully property taxes don't decrease (they will).

    Edmonton | Stationlands Residential Towers | 90m | 25s | Qualico | DIALOG

A 15-25 storey Alt or Moxy would kill it in this location. Also.... Montreal has really similar economics when it comes to the rental market, but I've noticed they're able to build concrete high rise. The overall architecture for new products is much better. Lower incomes here (Montreal), too...

You're allowed to be a Zionist. I know the name Cantor. I'm not upping the RA in here, though.

Israel is a settlement in the sense that Canada is. It's not that deep. Canadians and Americans aren't this defensive, why are non-Israelis in a Canadian forum carrying their water?

    Federal Politics

I'm one of the most right wing leaning people on this forum. Most of those places you're naming aren't settlements. What are you even saying?

Israel is an ethnostate though. Just say it and own it?

    Miscellaneous

It's actually offensively simple. Brick or stone cladding with large square windows. The architecture is Quebec City isn't fantastic, it's just pleasant and utilizes nice materials. Developers in Edmonton are acting like ICF construction with brick cladding is asking for the world. We are...

    Miscellaneous

I'm in QC right now. Developers could just copy most of these buildings and have an easy win. Extremely frustrating...
