    Toronto | Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

Personally i find it rather sad. These towers no longer look like a Gehry design, more like another condo tower with a few tweaks to make it look somewhat like a Gehry design but obviously curtailed to make them more affordable for a Toronto developer. There are towers in Mississaiga that...

    Toronto | The One | 338.3m | 94s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

Just a curiosity, how long does it take for the city to decide on whether a height increase will or will not be approved? This decision is probably the only thing moving slower than the construction of this building.

    Toronto | Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

I'm not familiar, is that a technical term?

So...a couple of nice parkettes and a shiny plaque? The developers plan cuts the potential park (smaller than Central Park I hear) in half. Id like to think Toronto can dream bigger and discover a way to make it happen. I'm quite surprised to see how many on this forum so willing to throw in...

I think we all know Central Park is bigger - I don't see the need for the comparison - but it only enforces the need for this park. Even built as big as possible it will still be a small park compared to many parks. Just curious, what point were you trying to make, if any?

    Toronto | The One | 338.3m | 94s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

Forgive my ignorance, but given the city has not confirmed 338.3 m height, why are we?

    Toronto | Rail Deck District | 227.23m | 70s | Craft Dev Corp | Sweeny &Co

This is the city’s last opportunity to build a park in this our growing downtown. Imagine New York without its iconic Central Park. They had the foresight to build a park when certainly they were faced with developers and others who would have preferred more housing or office space. Housing...

Dud Mizrahi get the height increase he was looking for? I see the thread includes a height of 338.4 meters but I didn’t see the approval for the height increase.

Not to mention other towers already approved and about to start

Another Large new proposal at 4615 Hurontario in Mississauga including 9 more condo towers of 28 to 45 storeys. Sorry for the poor picture quality - took photo from my car as I drove past - signs were just being erected.

    Toronto | The One | 338.3m | 94s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

I may have missed it, did they get the extra height they were asking for?

So construction is continuing - without construction workers?

How do you keep a GC and other trades available and engaged when construction shuts down regularly? you keep paying them. This must be costing Mizrahi a fortune. I'm sure there must be delivery dates being pushed back considerably as well, with appropriate penalties. Ouch.
