Have the old Varsity Courts Townhomes been demolished then?

Yes both Wellington buildings will be wood frame. They are massive, 208 units each. I do like that 60% of the units will be 2 bedroom or larger.

Agreed this is sorely needed in this area. Though it feels like the framing process for this has been going for 6-8 weeks at this point. Wonder if they had design or material issues. I did see that they are buying all of their lumber and Engineered wood from North Coast BP out of Surrey...

Yeah looks like that from the IFC. Near part of the South elevation will be the black corrugated metal, rest of the south elevation will be the Smooth Cementitious panel - White. These sides look great I think. North Elevation reminds me of a hospital for some reason.

I'm told this one is set to begin Framing in January 2025. It should fly up fast, same as 1901 College.
