Oh ok sorry, I knew i should have hopped into this thread the second I saw it going up! :)

The glass on the ground floor seems super tall. I don't think I've seen any panes that large before. Anything else like that in Toronto? Any idea where it might be coming from? My sister works in a window factory up in Collingwood and she says probably Europe which I find hard to believe.

They've dug a hole in Yonge south of Bloor and I think the wood is for shoring up the sides of the hole. I don't know if it has anything to do with the building. It could be just pipe work.

Anything going on with this project? Nothing seems to have changed since i moved the the area about four years ago with exception of a brief flurry of activity maybe 2 years ago?

I saw that picture myself during my fruitless Google search but it appears to be a completely different fountain. I believe that fountain was located at the north end of the park where the 48th Highlanders memorial now stands.

Very interesting thread. I can't remember the last time I saw a single functioning fountain. I came across this thread as I was looking for information about that seems to have been an old fountain located at the south end of Queen's park. Does anyone have any information about that? It looks to...
