    The glass on the ground floor seems super tall. I don't think I've seen any panes that large before. Anything else like that in Toronto? Any idea where it might be coming from? My sister works in a window factory up in Collingwood and she says probably Europe which I find hard to believe.

    They've dug a hole in Yonge south of Bloor and I think the wood is for shoring up the sides of the hole. I don't know if it has anything to do with the building. It could be just pipe work.

    I saw that picture myself during my fruitless Google search but it appears to be a completely different fountain. I believe that fountain was located at the north end of the park where the 48th Highlanders memorial now stands.
