I was thinking East Harbour lands or surrounding area around it being near that transit hub. Or maybe somewhere where near an airport like Pearson etc.

I think it's the base of the tower they're working on in the photos up above! It's set back a little from the podium looking large for now. But as the tower rises above a couple floors etc. It will narrow a little in some areas making the tower more noticeable at that point.

Yes I can see now that the existing tower is going to be totally dismantled and rebuilt. Not following the same route as the development next door. But it will be restored at its original height seen on the second rendering. Compared to the first rendering which is scaled down to to certain floor.

I'm glad they didn't shave down the existing building to add the new tower on top. They're going to build along the side of it by carving into the existing tower while climbing up to the 63rd floor. Keeping the original hieght of the old tower which is much better in my opinion!

Speaking of subways but just a thought! I think metrolinx should create a new proposed east, west subway line in the future to accommodate these very tall skyscraper and supertall buildings etc that are popping up between College, Carlton and Gerrard st would makes perfect sense. Since College...

This is off topic! If Doug Ford really wants to build a tunnel under the 401. Then the road should be a toll highway that bypasses the metro area for those who want to pay to cross though a little quicker. Starting where the 401 dipps by the Rouge river coming into Scarborough and exiting...

When ever you see a solid concrete wall that climbs up to a certain height ( eg 10 storeys ) . Would potentially give a niebouring developer a chance to but up against this development, creating a10 storey podium section alone. And if there's space for a tower to be built on top so be it! But...

I think it's called a cavern as seen on the previous page 15 under Kosty's blog. Shown in purple as being part of the subway platform where you wait for the subway train to come. The two little circles in front of the purple diagram. Represents the tunnels where the subway trains run through .

It would be nice to see the city grant a much taller tower than what's here on the top of these metro stations having no car port. To reward more condo owners that's do not own a vehicle to get around the city etc.

I was wondering if the old facades still support from the steel braces. Now that development has risen to the 10th floor at this point!
