2nd crane up today.

This project is really starting to take off now. A busy day on-site today with deliveries of formwork and rebar taking place. They have also started pouring for the first crane base.

Some photos from yesterday afternoon. The first photo shows what I'm assuming must be a temporary work platform, although I wasn't aware they were going to use one for this project. Also looks like some detailed excavation starting to happen in the northeast corner.

Down to P3 on the North half of the site...looks like shoring is close to wrapping up in the south half.

Installing the second level of tiebacks.

Photos earlier this morning - excavation is progressing quickly now with GFL working 6 days a week. They have reached the first level of tiebacks on the north end of the pit along Bloor St. and continue to make progress south every day.

They have been wetting and cleaning the roads on a daily basis in an effort to keep dust down. It is only partially working...

Progress continues as excavation has begun in the Northwest corner of the main site. 5th shoring rig arrived a few days ago and is still be assembled. Shoring looks to be very close to completed for the entire north end of the site. Lots of work on heritage structure retention/rehabilitation -...

From Friday afternoon. Supports have gone up for the heritage facade at Lennox and Bathurst. Shoring continued all week and it looks like they will be starting along Bathurst fairly soon.

Taken Friday afternoon and last night. Three shoring rigs on site now.

From yesterday, activity is really picking up now. Two shoring rigs on site and the last building along Bathurst has been torn down.

From this morning. Shoring rig has been up for a few days and material/equipment delivery continues today with the piles of I-beams being unloaded.
