GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

That would be nice and got me looking. I notice they seemed to add a 5 min two-way goal for the project on both the regional and Metrolinx pages... I don't recall that being present but the way back machine suggests it's been there a while... Unfortunately, I don’t have much confidence in the...

    Durham Region Transit / Pulse

I always forget 'bout this thread... Thanks.

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

Managed to pull additional slides with a bit more timeline information, and a couple of renderings I hadn't seen before from an upcoming DRT meeting. Nice to see the CN bottleneck (C) has timeline associated now... And an overhead of what I assume is a 'typical' stop:

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

Update on the Scarborough durham BRT from a local councillors newsletter on the Pickering segments (roughly Whites Rd to Brock Rd):

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

To add to the above, the premier said they would also compensate the city for lost revenues up to about $5 million per year... ... and when probed said the province has no interest in Exhibition Place.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

They were already closed last week when I passed by (and noticed patrons complaining about it)...

    Pickering Toronto | 640 Liverpool Road | ?m | 3s | Liverpool Road LP | Cassidy + Company

Not sure what happened here... I overheard the original owner had sold to developper but that was the last of it.. Was it not profitable at the larger unit size?

    Durham Region Transit / Pulse

This one suprised me, presumably referring to the Kingston and maybe Simcoe corridors: It is possibly some overflow reaction to what's happening in Toronto with light rail and streetcars. Durham region isn't usually ahead of the curve... I hope it is effective and drives us toward consistent...

    PM Mark Carney's Canada

An interview that feels like it’s showcasing a different version of Poilievre… It’s encouraging to hear talk of cooperation and moving beyond the usual partisan jabs about the Liberals. Time will tell how much of this translates into real action in the months ahead...

GO Transit Fleet Equipment and other

The Stouffville Line definitely blows its horns through Scarborough, I'm aware at Progress Avenue and probably other level crossings.

    Mayor Olivia Chow's Toronto

I didn't see this posted anywhere, but maybe some traffic signal experts here on UT can chime in. CTV news has a post up on a Canadian company that was left out of TSP (Finch LRT) bidding...

    Toronto Toronto | Bloor–Danforth Line 2 Scarborough Subway Extension | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Confirmed. Although removed from their site, I found an archive of a page confirming the 10-15 figure, as others have also suggested above. The main point of the post was to continue highlighting a problem with this organization: missing deadlines, inability to acknowledge events, and...

    Toronto Toronto | Bloor–Danforth Line 2 Scarborough Subway Extension | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

The original maximum they quoted was 10-15 m/day, as far as I know. That line about “this year at this pace” feels like careful wording and I don’t think Michael Lindsay was trying to mislead, but I’m not convinced their numbers account properly for maintenance time. I already started this: Am...

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

That isn't what the notice says... Don't think they are burying the 230 kV lines from Pickering NGS. There are local lines in the area (pictured below). The notice also states they will bring the lines to the rail corridor. Again, this has nothing to do with the high-voltage feeder lines from...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

I ride near this and on it sometimes. It's a pretty quiet residential street for most of its length. With the Meadowway right there, it seems a bit odd to have cycle tracks so close and parallel on an already reasonably quiet street with speed limits, given all the schools.
