Based on the renders most of them won’t glow but some will.

Holy, the impact it has on the skyline is insane! It definitely elevates the skyline to a new level of impressive. This + phase 3 + the Hub, and sugar wharf phase 2 will finish transforming the skyline in the coming years.

It’s gonna look so tall and slim when it’s done.

    Toronto Toronto | The HUB | 258.46m | 59s | Oxford Properties | Rogers Stirk Harbour

This tower should be taller so I hope it’s true and the spike in office space rental leads to a height increase here. We need an office tower super tall. At least 300m

Anyone knows of ice skating will eventually be allowed here?

Is there a way we can put presssure on this firm? I don’t know Flood them with online criticism and backlash so they rethink producing the most mundane and mediocre architecture in this city? When is it gonna end with this people? Why developers keep hiring them to do this trash work? There’s...

Are the actually gonna paint the heritage building with yellow paint? Why? What’s the point in restoring this if you’re gonna mutilate then again ? I hope that’s not the case.

    Toronto Toronto | Pinnacle Lakeside (Phase 1) | 174.86m | 54s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Will never understand why they would sacrifice the corner of a building which everyone wants for better natural light and views, just to install blank walls that add nothing to the design of the building. It doesn’t make the building better, makes it worse.

    Toronto Toronto | Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

I don’t know who in their sane realistic reasonable mind expected a skyscraper of this size to be cladded in fully unique/ non repeatable panels. That would not make sense financially and would be a waste to increase the cost when vast majority of people see the overall look of the building...

    City-TV & OMNI-TV's H.Q. (formerly Torch, Quadrangle)

The best possible outcome is someone with deep pockets and good vision demolishes this monstrosity and builds something worth having in front of our most visited square. .sankofa square has nothing but terrible architecture surrounding it, except for the heritage buildings, which they also...

    Toronto Toronto | 8 Elm | 218.2m | 69s | Reserve Properties | Arcadis

I think once everything is said and done the balconies will look better than most wrap-around balconies in the city. What makes wrap-around balconies bad is a mediocre facade design, this building’s facade is not the most striking ever but it is interesting, warm and playful, so the final result...
