From yesterday. Quite a big pit!

For date night last Friday we went to Brioche for drinks, and IBU for dinner. Both were pretty full- we snagged the last reservation for IBU that wasn’t at 5:30pm or 10pm. Both were fantastic. The Avitus guys really know how to set up a vibey, cozy bar- can’t wait to come back for some food...

I like this idea, mostly because of the place-making aspect of a scramble intersection. You don’t see them very often in Calgary, and it would help solidify 17th ave’s position as a pedestrian street at what is ostensibly the west gateway of the high street.

Not to nitpick, but this is technically South Calgary 😁 I agree with you though, I love my neighbourhood
