Wow-replacing your entire floor is a big deal - and not to say a major inconvenience if you had already moved in. The customer service people are very good, I agree. The trades people they have come in , well, not so much.

Ok, another change of topic? Anyone who moved in a bit ago - how has GGH been with dealing with deficiencies? Floor scratches, cabinet scratches, missing shower glass etc etc. - any time frames?

I am quite serious. I'll have to measure and see if there are standard sizes. I was hoping someone already did the leg work.

Has anyone found someone to provide shelves for their upper kitchen cabinets? Imagine my surprise to find out they are not included, although they were so generous to drill the holes for the shelf supports (sarcasm). Any suggestions?

I received a letter in the mail saying the PDI was upcoming, & the same day I received a phone call to schedule the appointment. So about 30 days prior to the now-scheuduled PDI.

My PDI is Nov 24 and my suite is on the 27th floor, if that helps.

If you don't mind sharing the info, how much did you pay the inspector and do you think it was worth it? Would you have noticed the floor problem on your own?

I asked specifically about that, and was told the island would match the cupboards. I don't you think you chose that! I went with white cupboards so for me I guess it does not matter.

When I purchased my unit I had them reverse the table, then I changed my mind and had them leave it as it is on the floor plan. You could choose to change the direction (i.e. move the island to where the table is shown). Although in the picture pulling it out toward the living area seems a bit...
