Saks Fifth Avenue Flagship (Queen & Yonge)

Meh. What a load of nothing. It's the Bay revamped with the Saks logo plastered everywhere and higher prices. The men's dept is a ridiculous little joke . The women's shoe dept (which is in the same area of the men's dept) is nothing compared to the Bay's (which is conveniently just next to it)...

    Church-Wellesley Village

Not if it's filled with NIMBYs.

    Gap closing 25% of stores

If the men's 'section' at the Bay/Bloor location is anything to go by I am not surprised. Easily one of the worst men's depts I have ever seen. Pointless, really. They kept moving it around and it got smaller and smaller every time. And the selection is ridiculously bad. It's up there (down...

Just for renovations or for good?

    Hudson's Bay Company

I agree; however, at the same time, women WILL go up 5 floors to a women's dept. Men (gay or straight) on the other hand will begrudgingly go or not at all. If the men's dept was on the second floor with women's 3 and up it would've been better. But, hey, who knows how things will go when Sak's...

    Future Shop Closing

I've never had the experience where an item is cheaper online for electronics (or much else for that matter), especially when you add in Shipping and Handling which often bumps it up to what you're going to spend in-store anyway. I was genuinely surprised what so many shop for electronics online.

    I love this.

Most annoying requests overheard in Starbucks

One thing is for sure, they've increased the prices! Lol. A grande tea (just a normal tea) used to be after tax $2.05. Now it's $2.36.

    Hudson's Bay Company

TopShop has now moved to the "men's floor" next to TopMan. This is getting silly.

    Canadian Tire

I'm all for express shoppes. Smaller versions of big department or retail stores. When you think of it, most people only go to a small section of a dept store anyway, so having everything (well, not EVERYTHING) more compact and accessible and within walking distance (depending on where you live...

    Holt Renfrew (includes hr2)

 It is clothing you can by in one section of Selfridges. And seeing as Holts owns Selfridges, I don't think providing some of the variety that Selfridges has is asking too much. As for size, granted, it is too small. Which makes the move to a men's only store with nothing more to...

    Holt Renfrew (includes hr2)

So, we should be happy with what little we have and not attempt to aim higher? The clothes at Holts ar over-priced and deliver to a very niche market. The new store only moved the same stuff over to a new store. It is not absurd it is fairly accurate and appropriate.

    Holt Renfrew (includes hr2)

I don't hate my life, I hate Holts. And I'm not alone. I don't live with my parents, but thanks for thinking I'm young enough to do so. I am not cranky I am accurate.

    Holt Renfrew (includes hr2)

I can't be positive, but I'm pretty sure I fell asleep half way walking through there. Lol. It's the same over-priced crappy clothing just moved down the street. I thought it would've been expanded like a Selfridge's men's department, but alas, no.
