This is the last map of the project from Waterfront Toronto’s website. It looks like it has been removed as of today but was live in February. I hope it’s a sign it will be extended to East Harbour in the initial build

Removing the preservation frame

Maybe a compromise out of this situation could be provincial funding for the waterfront LRT expansion. A larger Billy Bishop airport will need better transit, and the 509 could be more frequent and faster.

Riverdale ramp/Lower Don trail update

Utility work on the Main St-Victoria Park Ave stretch of Danforth Ave has begun. This was marked as a bikeway renew project, but I’m not sure if it will also be upgraded to cycle tracks.

I notice the Thorncliffe Park street renderings only have a cycle track along the north side of Overlea blvd. The Millwood/Overlea intersection was designed to have a cycle track on both sides of Overlea (pic below), and was already started on. I wonder if this is an intentional change.
