The view from the edge of the waterfront in Marcanadian's fifth and sixth photos makes me feel better about this building's big, flat, reflective sides. Decent materials and a great cool blue mirror effect for an increasingly cool blue waterfront. It's a silver lining for what's essentially a...

I actually found the glass to appear much greener than depicted in renderings and the model.

It's true. A small change, but a huge improvement.

Let me first say that as someone who lives in Toronto and has a vested interest in the success and vitality of this city (and cities in general), I'm very grateful that this site exists, along with all its administrators, moderators, contributors, and general members. You keep us all connected...

Really hard to say based on the odd lighting scheme they chose to go with in the render. I certainly hope not.

I'm wondering if all that top soil was the source of the strong manure smell that overtook the area today. I haven't walked directly by the lot yet, so I don't know if it's ground zero. Anyone know for sure?

I love the atmosphere at street level, but I'm not wild about the silhouette those residential buildings strike lined up at approximately the same height a la Liberty Village. "The Wall" seems a more apt name.

I did have access, but I don't now. Was treated to an upgraded stay at the Fazioli suite for my birthday. (First one pictured).

Theatre taking its place amidst this increasingly full bouquet of skyscrapers. Please excuse the three-year-old iPhone photo quality.

More Aura supremacy from the north AGO staircase.

I never see the VIA waiting area off the great hall depicted in any of the renderings...

Sorry if this has already been addressed earlier on in the thread (been trying to find the answer without having to ask) -- but can anyone confirm whether or not improvements are planned for the intercity train concourse just off the great hall?

I completely agree about the Eaton Centre towers, vegeta. And I respect the planning behind them even more when I think about how long ago they were built. Regarding Aura, I agree with critics who point out its definite flaws, but I'm in favour of indulging in a more flattering appraisal...
