I predict that this building and Forma will be the most photographed buildings in Toronto once complete.
The way the light will play on both of these structures, hourly and seasonally, I can't wait!
The first iteration was ...
DJT's Gold Carbuncle, all it was missing was 10 foot letters bearing the 'name'
Seriously looking back at the design, it's comical and one could consider it a joke on the UofT.
Horrific in one word.
Totally agree with Amare. I lived there in the early 80s then in the early 2000s, getting any denser will be an issue. Just ridiculous, there are other areas that could use this.
First time I saw that facade,
computer punch card windows, like hundreds of windows from inside jet...
I was in love. So sad to see that mid century example leave us.
May the replacement inspire another. As this one did me.
Absolutely, this is way ahead of some of the others in the Waterloo area.
170 Northfield looked way to dense certainly visually, way to close to Judge Dredd.
475 King St. North, burn those plans and never speak of that abomination.
Wow, I just looked at a couple of other developments in the Waterloo area, this is the best. The others were so generic I thought the 80's were haunting us. Though is that saying much?
