I predict that this building and Forma will be the most photographed buildings in Toronto once complete. The way the light will play on both of these structures, hourly and seasonally, I can't wait!

    Toronto Toronto | U of T: Centre for Civilizations, Cultures, and Cities | ?m | 6s | U of T | DS + R

The first iteration was ... DJT's Gold Carbuncle, all it was missing was 10 foot letters bearing the 'name' Seriously looking back at the design, it's comical and one could consider it a joke on the UofT. Horrific in one word.

Totally agree with Amare. I lived there in the early 80s then in the early 2000s, getting any denser will be an issue. Just ridiculous, there are other areas that could use this.

Toronto 1200 Bay (retail tenant fitout) | Tiffany & Co

First time I saw that facade, computer punch card windows, like hundreds of windows from inside jet... I was in love. So sad to see that mid century example leave us. May the replacement inspire another. As this one did me.

    Toronto Toronto | Carrying Place Vista | 48.46m | 15s | Chamberlain

looks like a renovation of an old 60s tower, not a fan.

Beautiful from the outside, inside dystopian hellscape. I remember the 1 and 2 bedrooms of 50's-70's buildings and weep.

Now, this is how you do a glass facade! Make it interesting, set the reflections to play.

    Waterloo Toronto | Conestogo Park Square | ?m | 35s | Northfield | Turner Fleischer

Absolutely, this is way ahead of some of the others in the Waterloo area. 170 Northfield looked way to dense certainly visually, way to close to Judge Dredd. 475 King St. North, burn those plans and never speak of that abomination.

    Waterloo Toronto | Steelcraft Lands Redevelopment | 96.8m | 30s | Prica | PGDS

Wow, I just looked at a couple of other developments in the Waterloo area, this is the best. The others were so generic I thought the 80's were haunting us. Though is that saying much?

    Waterloo Toronto | 475 - 485 King Street North | 88.51m | 28s | Drewlo Holdings | MKA

looks like someone regurgitated a design from a 1980 catalogue of office buildings... 'put a few colour panels on it, no one will notice'.

    Waterloo Toronto | 475 - 485 King Street North | 88.51m | 28s | Drewlo Holdings | MKA

and here I thought I had time travelled to somewhere in the 80's US of A

    Waterloo Toronto | 170 Northfield Drive West | 129.6m | 40s | Forgestone | Turner Fleischer

Judge Dredd anyone? Looks like boxes for habitation and nothing more, large expanse of grass and a few chairs... inviting not.

    Toronto Toronto | Canary House | 50.3m | 13s | Dream | BDP Quadrangle

Fire engine red, shrugging my shoulders.
