At that point, it would make more sense for ALTO to stop at East Harbour to connect with the Ontario Line and GO service. By 2040, that area should be pretty developed.

Toronto Yonge-Dundas Square/Sankofa Square (Brown + Storey Architects)

To make the square more attractive, the city will need to start by cleaning up the area from drug addicts. There's no way around it. But Chris Moise believes in ''harm reduction'' so he won't do anything about it.

Toronto Toronto | Sherbourne Common, Canada's Sugar Beach, and the Water's Edge Promenade | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto | Teeple Architects

wasn't the pedestrian bridge supposed to open in 2026? I'm not sure how anyone will be able to get to it given all the constructions happening in the area over the next decade

    Toronto Eaton Centre

that business won't operate for much longer if that's the best they can do

Toronto Toronto | Ontario Place: West Island / Therme Spa | 45.15m | 9s | Therme Group | Diamond Schmitt

The existing areas were in great dispair. They're gone now and what's going to happen is going to happen. No need to keep complaining about it. Focus on issues that can be fixed

    Corktown

Moise probably used the money for the much needed Dundas Square renaming

Toronto Toronto | Ontario Place: West Island / Therme Spa | 45.15m | 9s | Therme Group | Diamond Schmitt

Isn't construction supposed to be done by 2028-2029 though?

    Toronto Toronto | Ookwemin Minising | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

that's a lot of density for a small area with no public transit happening within the next decade and trafic is already hell... whoever is planning this needs to be fired

    Toronto Toronto | Parliament Slip | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto | West 8

The people in charge of this are paid a lot of money and they have no incentive to do anything quickly. Even if they got full financing from the government, they’d find ways to drag it out to secure their salaries

    Toronto Toronto | Parliament Slip | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto | West 8

Walking down from Parliament to the waterfront will be a mess for 5-10 years minimum. It's a shame.

    Toronto Toronto | Quayside | ?m | ?s | Dream | Allies and Morrison

This whole area will be a mess for 5-10 years. Not ideal to get people across to the park

Alto - High Speed Rail (Toronto-Quebec City)

I get planning is a big task but once everything is clear, construction should not take 10 years. China and Japan would do it in 2.

    Toronto Toronto | Cherry House at Canary Landing | 50.32m | 13s | Dream | COBE Architects

I was surprised by the small and awkward layout at Shoppers but it's still nice to finally have one in the area.
