The 1st thing I did when I got hold of the floorplans for a condo I was looking to buy, was draw up a couple of units I was interested in as well as my own furniture to see what my belongings would look like in these new spaces. I thought I can't be the only person who would like to see their own furniture in a new condo so I created my own company to provide space planning for people moving into a new home by using their floor plan and their furniture to visualize and animate thru the space in 3D. The condo didn't happen but the business idea did !
