The partial bp and approved dp just happened simultaneously. The work completed until now was not related to the bp.

Yes, the 36 storey residential tower on the NorthWest portion of this site will begin shortly. It will have its own brand new 3 storey parkade that connects to the existing 2 storey parkade. I will make an educated guess that excavation will begin in January.

I think the scope of work should be clarified for everyone: They are completely demolishing and reconstructing the existing residential tower from floors 3 to 9 and enlarging the floor area of the building slightly. The 2nd floor condo units at the rear, and commercial units on the main floor...

4 levels of below grade parkade

There are some doubts about this project in this thread but the partial building permit is now released. Hopefully soon we will see a big hole in the ground for the 4 levels of underground parkade. Future 31 storeys of residential with the main floor mostly reserved for commercial retail units.
