Same. Not sure if the shared nature of the hand washing station is better or worse. Are the bathrooms off the cycle track by the flyover still open? The Drop In Centre is a massive issue for this area.
Hopefully Josh won't switch to a Canucks jersey! Bumped into him a few times at Flames games over the years as my father in law's season tickets seats were a a row or two behind his.
Greenline doesn't go near the airport. It would be an extension of the existing blue line in the NE. Maybe I'm just being overly anxious, I just don't trust Smith and her pool of rich supporters who continue to mount opposition to the greenline. I believe she once said we should build the line...
Saw an online ad by the provincial government touting an lrt extension to the airport. I know that was Danielle Smith's priority pet project over the greenline. Is funding safe for the greenline or can it be taken away when the full scope of the project and its budget gets presented in June? I...
Great TOD potential with no train as of yet. Here's hoping Danielle Smith doesn't arbitrarily kill the greenline in June. Saw a government of Alberta ad touting the lrt extension to the airport and am suspicious that they are trying to prioritize that pet project over this.
I was at Centaur across the street earlier today and noticed the steel stairs. That will make a really nice feature with vision glass. Big improvement to that area.
Noticed all of the trees at the former Blackfoot trailer park have been cut down and there's a sign for a new development. I don't see anything on skyrise about it. Here's the website for the developer but there's no rendering. The billboard had an image but I couldn't see well from my car...
I'm still holding out hope and will wait until it's finished before judging it. The screen will make or break the design. If it's bare metal it won't look good. If there's some finish applied I think it will disguise the greige paneling enough that it won't matter.
I love how this is the issue that's spurring the UCP to try and change it so that municipal politicians have to run under a party banner. Clearly they're hoping scary Liberal or NDP associations will lead to less progressive councilors in office.
