    Bloor-Yorkville Scene

https://retail-insider.com/retail-insider/2024/04/luxury-brand-bulgari-to-open-flagship-store-on-bloor-street-in-toronto/ Lots of details in the Retail Insider article posted yesterday. The construction hoarding went up over the weekend, along with the Mandy's graphics. Remember when...

Toronto non-mall retail (Odds & Ends)

My big annoyance with these snack shops are the lack of pricing signage. I don't want to guess how much the snacks are, and I definitely don't want to get a price check for every single soda. What is this - INS Market or Gateway Newsstands???

    The Retail Apocalypse

Another loss of a multi-store retailer. Factory Direct is set to liquidate its inventory starting tomorrow. Made it to 24 stores at the height of popularity and left with 14 stores across the province...

The UGG pop-up, which took over Boathouse last year in the former Le Chateau space has closed. It didn't have a chance, tbh. The interior was too big for the assortment that they had. UGG is owned by Decker Brands, which also owns HOKA.

    Bloor-Yorkville Scene

Wondering what's the end goal for 2 Bloor w, with lululemon upstairs. The concourse has been emptying one-by-one, with the latest exit being Game & Hobby Zone, which closed yesterday after 23 years in business.

Pret A Manger coming to Canada!

Looks interesting - I've had quality issues with the pop-ups, so maybe this will fix it. Good idea for going streetside, as the PATH still isn't set up to be able to support businesses on the weekend, so this will capture the tourism market and locals...

    Toronto Eaton Centre

Is a new staircase/escalators being installed in the main atrium? Sure looks that way, as it's perfectly situated with the 3rd and 2nd level. "If" we're playing the "if" game, then let's add a few layers for additional fun. Indigo shuttered the 2nd floor entrance (American Girl) before the...

    Toronto Eaton Centre

Two impending closures to share: Old Navy and Williams Sonoma will be closing their doors. Closing signage is up at WS, while a full section of Old Navy at the back of the store has been allocated for fixtures and mannequin storage.

    The Well (retail)

The Retail Insider article wasn't the official website that I was talking about. The well list: (https://thewelltoronto.com/retail-updates/) does not include lululemon.

    The Well (retail)

Interesting how the official list doesn't include lululemon
