    Billy Bishop Airport Expansion?

They've already made their comments to the press about it. There is no "opportunity" we're missing out on here. The airport is an asset, and the waterfront and the existing parks are sufficant in this area. Oh no, the government fibbed to appease a vocal minority. No, it's just over peoples...

    Billy Bishop Airport Expansion?

    Billy Bishop Airport Expansion?

    Billy Bishop Airport Expansion?

Hopefully Chow still has a chance to negotiate this down to just the airport and not the rest of the island.

    Billy Bishop Airport Expansion?

Is it that the PIN's are not granular enough to specify which portions they are actually looking to own? So in short, NIMBY's The federal government has no power over Doug Ford expropriating the land.

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

The city gets to keep the rest of the island instead of the province taking it all.

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

Seems like a good opportunity for Chow to trade the airport land and adjacent mainland side in order to save the rest of the island parkland.

Have we seen a map of what part of the island they are expropriating?

    Mayor Olivia Chow's Toronto

I think she'd be opening up herself to attacks on that front if that's what she wants to campaign on. She's only very gently pushed back on Ford, and had mostly cooperated with him.
