Really? I think if it were not for the buried sections of Line 5 it would be open in 2022 or sooner without the pandemic. Is the Hurontario LRT that far behind schedule if it is all surface-level?

Passed by the library, and noticed they have put up "Closing soon" in their window using sticky notes (may have not been exact wording) but it was large and visible driving on the eastbound lanes of Finch Avenue West. So I assume some progress has been made because that is a new sign.

I agree. I also wish that they would continue building the Line 6 originally imagined and extend the Finch West LRT to Finch station. Connecting both sides of Line 1 north of Bloor (eventually north of Eglinton, whenever the Crosstown may open) would be a game changer as east west rapid transit...

Hold on $400-$450 million dollars for 1 station at Cummer? No interchage, just a regular subway stop? York University station cost $150 million dollars in 2017. Something's not adding up.

The never-ending quarry

So how many developments are now planned on gas stations in North York? Bathurst and Finch, Bathurst and Wilson, Yonge and Chatsworth. Currently 2/3 are sitting dormant and Bathurst and Finch is still operating. I wonder how long the remediation time is for these gas stations?

The Line 4 extensions should be done in phases. Phase 1 Sheppard West extension, linking Sheppard West to Sheppard-Yonge, approximately 3km. Phase 1 would be much simpler to implement due to this small distance. Phase 2 would be the East extension, which would require more significant...
