    Barrie Toronto | 76 Bryne Drive | 21.96m | 5s | Blackthorn Development | Fausto Cortese Architects

The development crane towering over Barrie’s Bryne Drive is helping build five storeys of residences and commercial uses. There are to be 48 residential units and seven ground-floor commercial spaces at 76 Bryne Dr., which is 1.95 acres...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

At the very least completely grade separated rapid transit is the bare minimum at 100s of millions of dollars per mile. Having conversations about traffic conflict at that price point is ridiculous. The problem has been solved even in Toronto subways or even the technology the Line 3 in...

    Toronto Toronto | 4800 Yonge Street | 168.24m | 49s | Menkes | Arquitectonica

It will be great when the sidewalks reopen. People walk on the road on Yonge street now.

To be fair to fate Metrolinx is pretty good at holding things up on their own. Memento mori

Hopefully we don’t all die of old age before the Eglinton LRT opens

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

🤣 You’re almost ready to be the next Metrolinx CEO coming up with a good excuse like that. Metrolinx specializes in those but their real special attack is the fake 30 days before the announcement we will announce the announcement so stay tuned for the announcement for the announcement line...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

I think the Finch LRT team should just be retained and keep them working considering they probably had the best go at a rail transit project in 21st century Ontario history. A competent government would be extending the LRT Finch Station 6.5km east AND Pearson Airport 8.2km west.

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Yup. Subways, subways, subways for Toronto are needed badly. LRTs in Oshawa or York Region make sense.

Put it in the calendar. Time to be on the first train on Finch ever.

Beautiful shot! Seeing this reminded me of hearing about 401/Yonge reworking but I don’t think the former associate minister of transportation Stan Cho, ever followed up on this newsletter. January 26 2025 https://stanchompp.ca/2495-2/

    Toronto Toronto | NorthCore Condos | 59.1m | 18s | Fieldgate | Arcadis

Maybe it's better it hasn't opened. I imagine that the level build-up and intensification on Eglinton has already made it so if the LRT runs it will be a human sardine tin generator. Nevermind the traffic signalling priority and inclement weather without mentioning the risk of traffic accidents...
