holy mackerel... this one actually has some real architecture going on there ! this may actually run out like the renders.

what an absolutely hideous group of buildings! all the same materials, same style, same height. it may as well be a single monolith. a crime against humanity.

this has to be in the top 10 bait and switches in GTA history. what are they thinking, building these monstrosities?

sadly, I feel this has turned out to be a disappointment. the overall shape of the building is a positive, but the cladding is bland and boring. this building struggles to stand out from the other equally bland all glass buildings that it neighbours. I feel like the outline of the building...

Toronto... the city of the box.

    Toronto Toronto | 88 Queen | 167.35m | 52s | St Thomas Dev | Hariri Pontarini

what a hideous monstrosity that main tower is... looks like a Howard Johnsons out of the 1970's.

look at all these things crammed in here. exact same formula every time. no different shapes, no different rooflines, no different materials. architecture reduced to window treatments.

    Toronto Toronto | 160 Front West | 239.87m | 46s | Cadillac Fairview | AS + GG

this building is decent on its own but in context there are just too many sterile "all glass" buildings grouped together at Front and Simcoe.

omg... Toronto doesnt hold a candle to the skyline of Chicago no matter what "the stats" about numbers of buildings say. Chicago has far more taller buildings and vastly superior and more diverse architecture.

    Toronto Toronto | 399 Yonge | 252.3m | 75s | Capital Developments | Teeple Architects

what a train wreck of a design... especially the base that has several different aesthetics mashed together, none of which is attractive on its own, but even worse glued together in such a forced way. once again i weep for the death of architecture. humanity passed its prime at least 50 years ago.

wow, this is really interesting and eye catching! this is what the city needs more of - full height masonry buildings ( even if they end up being prefab sections) to contrast the last 20 years of nothing but glass which has left so many parts of the downtown feeling sterile and lifeless...

    Toronto Toronto | The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

the glass being used here appears to be much darker than depicted in the renderings... which is good. it will create more of a contrast with the CIBC tower across the street. the bronze tones in the renders looked too similar to my eyes.
