Completely agree. LDG has brought significant vibrancy to 34th Ave. The small businesses are thriving and bringing real vibrancy to the area, you can really notice it during warm summer evenings. Really curious to see what goes in, they have mentioned a restaurant. Give me 100 of these...

Walked by today. Excavators were on site and so were steel beams so it looks like this will begin shortly.

No action on site since construction stopped. Likely doesn't make sense until the Main Streets work surrounding the building is complete and the weather allows for longer construction days.

With the main streets work on 33rd being stopped for the holiday shopping season, this one might pick back up for a bit.

Another half a block on 33rd was just torn down East of 19 St. I think that one is Sarina homes and they seem to be good at getting things built.

Guess those properties will continue to be completely run down and fenced off for the time being. Wish they would either have kept them as is until they were actually ready to build, or knocked them down. It's a complete eyesore right now.

Hopefully this site doesn't end up like Marlo on 36th. They're just now building the remaining units 10 years after demolition.

My only issue with this development is that these buildings that take up such a huge parcel of land can get a little boring visually. Something like South Bank in Inglewood where the facade changes as you walk along the building would be much better, IMO.
