    Mississauga Toronto | 1444-1458 Cawthra Road | 9.5m | 3s | Pine Glen | KFA

This should've been a mid rise

    Mississauga Toronto | Voya | 142.25m | 44s | Amacon | Turner Fleischer

90 floors would be insane for Mississauga, I'm not holding my breath for that lol. There's so much density and ongoing/upcoming transit investment here, hopefully it leads to a more attractive opportunity for companies to open offices here too. Also hopefully that stadium the City wants isn't...

    Mississauga Toronto | Stak36 | ?m | 48s | Oxford Properties | Arcadis

A gelatto place opened up at the southernmost unit, and 2 additional units say "leased" on them but no info on who's moving into them. The last 1-2 units still say "for lease" on them. So 3 out of 5 are leased which isn't bad considering this economy lol. This is based on my walk nearby late...

    Mississauga Toronto | Cooksville Community Hub | ?m | 5s | PDSB | CS&P

Would be a big win for cooksville if/when this gets built, this and that big park expansion on Shepard will hopefully kick off more investment/revitalization for the area

look at all that redevelopment potential 😍😂

    Mississauga Toronto | 55 Dundas Street West | 110.45m | 34s | D-Stillwaters / BlueKrescent | Lumbao

Interesting choice for preservation of a heritage property lol ... I'll admit I'm ignorant on the history of it, but purely from an aesthetic/architectural perspective, this is a bit of a dump ... Also doesn't retaining this property go against the City's priority of wanting to widen Dundas...

    Mississauga Toronto | Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Transit does go a long way to making it a more attractive office market but at a certain point I feel like if we cram enough people here, employment surely has to follow - simply because of access to talent. At least I hope so lol since more density is coming a hell of a lot sooner than all...

    Mississauga Toronto | Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Recently came across this GTA Office market report from Colliers (was posted in another thread here) and pretty much confirms that MCC office market is dead. 18.3% vacancy rate for office space in MCC is 3rd worst in the GTA ...

    Mississauga Toronto | Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

I love dog piling on those jabronis as much as the next guy (because they deserve it most of the time) but I genuinely think with Hurontario the majority of the recent issues lie with the contractor consortium. Having to rip up tracks that were laid wrong, and not being able to pay their...

    miWay Transit

I know I'm putting the cart before the horse considering it feels like getting 2WAD service on Milton Line is still a pipe dream, but I have to wonder about if or when that happens - will the line get more infill stations? It'll effectively be a subway for Mississauga, and it would be awesome to...

Hi drum, just passing by and wanted to say you're a legend. I'm pretty new to the forum but you're all over the place especially in the Mississauga developments. Thank you for your years of dedication and coverage and contagious enthusiasm for better urbanism in Mississauga, it hasn't gone...

    Mississauga Toronto | 185 Enfield | ?m | 35s | GWL | Kirkor

The lot immediately north of this - which Im pretty sure people were saying was going to be another tower - has been turned into a parking lot for the time being. Sorry for the crappy photo was running errands in the area and it caught my eye lol. 185 itself also looks to be complete - I saw...

    Mississauga Toronto | Stak36 | ?m | 48s | Oxford Properties | Arcadis

Southern-most retail unit is going to be a gelato place (Nani's gelato). I was hoping for a sit down restobar with a patio (to take advantage of those massive sidewalks on confederation) but it's better than your typical barber/salon/dentist lol.

    Mississauga Toronto | Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

I know you're being at least partly facetious but the complaining does seem like it gets a great amount of things done at least at the municipal level, I dont imagine its much different at the provincial level. 😂 Also just one final thought on this, but as an additional example: any time anyone...

    Mississauga Toronto | Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

You're misreading my point. I'm also not disagreeing with the fact that in an ideal world, transit would be there first & then density would follow - "build it & they will come." What I'm saying is that it looks like people who call the shots in this province prioritize investment into transit...
