Very large mobile crane raising a number of items onto the roof. At first thought it was for T3, but then noticed they were being placed on roof of Aquabella. This picture shows more of the items on the ground. There was also a flatbed truck nearby with more. I'm guessing these are hard...

Looks like these are pictures of what items go where on the shelves. Would seem to suggest we are close to opening!? Also I don't know how this passed quality assurance, but the second + is horribly off-centre.

This is a very good point. I think this is a major failure by the City and Waterfront Toronto. The first buildings aren't expected to be occupied until 2031, and yet the developers feel that to properly attract tenants six years from now they need to spend significant sums of money to create...

This seems like the crux of the issue to me (a relative layperson). I don't understand the economics, but there seems to be no way this was going to be a show-stopper once it become 100% affordable rental. I think that's why I fall on the side of liking it - in my view, as a 100% affordable...

For what it's worth, I happened to walk by the sales centre this weekend and saw prospective buyers inside getting the tour. Thought it was notable since the pre-con market is supposed to be so slow these days. I'm hopeful this thing gets built, as the building and park would be excellent...
