Bridgeland is a busy place these days, I think both Shoppers and Luke’s can probably coexist. There’s also two more developments going up, one on each side of Luke’s.

For a city of Edmonton’s size, the downtown is surprisingly sparse people wise. Much more so than Calgary or Ottawa, and that’s the reason for the lack of vibrancy. They need to get more people in the downtown, but it’s easier said than done.

Has anyone heard anything on this? A little birdie told me this will be going ahead this year.

Buildings can be built on top, but underground parking would be an issue. Of course being beside a train station this is a great place for zero parking buildings.

Someone described this as 'bland, but unoffensive'. That perfectly sums it up. Despite the design, I'm happy to see it going ahead, it'll help improve the area.

I'd like to see this go ahead. With two other buildings going up kitty corner, this being built would transform that part of the Beltline.

Whatever it is, if it's designed by Allies and Morrison, it'll be a treat. I'd be happy, with any of Eau Claire, EV, or on that corner lot by the BMO centre.
