Considering how epically slow construction moves in TO, I would be surprised if in 2031 we actually had people moving in. Pleasantly surprised, but definitely surprised.

    Toronto events and festivals

A lot of the street food fests do feel very same same, and don't really highlight the culture of the neighbourhood that well. But it would be a shame to lose something like Hot Docs.

I really like that No Frills. I grew up around the area, and I believe it was Food City originally, became Knob Hills Farms, and now No Frills. I feel like I'm missing an iteration. In that plaza, I still miss Consumer Distributors even though they have their wonky catalog system. :)

I was (am?) a bit worried about Cuckoo Bakery as they are stuck kinda in a middle of nowhere. Gong Cha just a bit north is at least at a T-intersection.

I do like the design/shape from a distance. It's only when I get close that it feels too big for the footprint; and I see the quality of materials is not that great.

Gorgeous! I wish they did better with the guardrails though. Even having them painted white would make it look better.

    St Lawrence Market

Used to pop in a couple times a year. They have nice stuff, but very $$, and also bigger items not well suited for condo balconies. I remember seeing enough customers that actually bought stuff, but that was pre-Covid.

The seemingly terminal decline of Tim Hortons

The app's bonus discounts used to be OK, but in the past year (or slightly more?) it's been pretty crap, and I don't even look at it anymore.

    Toronto Toronto | Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s

I like the simplicity of Line 1, 2, etc., or Line A, B, etc., or red/blue/yellow/etc line. Even though I grew up knowing them as Yonge line or Bloor/Danforth line. Just for new comers - and also possible line extensions, you aren't stuck with place names - these generic names are a lot easier...

    Yonge-Dundas Square/Sankofa Square (Brown + Storey Architects)

I thought there was a recent ruling that didn't allow panhandling/busking/corner preachers in the area?

    Restaurant Tipping Etiquette

I find portion sizes (like grocery sizes) are slimming down already.

Last one from me - my cellphone is pretty old and so the night shots are not great.

I'd rather have a ferris wheel than a private spa.

All finished, I think it looks good!
