The seemingly terminal decline of Tim Hortons

They don't need to nessessarily make them in-house, just made in a bakery the same day. Krispy Kreme delivers same day batches of donuts from their local regional bakery. When they are baked fresh in the early morning, they taste far better than the often chemically/salty/margarine packed...

The seemingly terminal decline of Tim Hortons

Tims is doing everything wrong. They should ditch the soups , sandwiches, ice cream etc and focus on making decent coffee & fresh donuts like Krispy Kreme. Then re-open seating in cafes and extend hours. The whole purpose of Tims is either desperation to stay awake (if I drank all my coffee in...

The exterior will likely end being lousy but the interiors are far superior to over 80% of new Toronto condos. They are Vancouver style layouts with large proper kitchen islands and gas cooktops. In a perfect world this would have been released in 2010 and I would have bought in here but alas

It's mediocre, but at least it's matte and the mullions are flush and match the spandrel, instead of the usual semigloss plastic finish thats crisscrossed by raised mullions in a different color.

What a difference it makes to have mullions that are flush with the spandrel. As opposed to semigloss spandrel covered in criss crossing raised mullions.

A lot of this would be improved by linking mortgage approval documents with a CRA verification/approval portal to stop the mortgage fraud that significantly bids up prices on the lower end of the condo market. Furthermore, the people perpetrating the fraud generally dont discern in the quality...

Or raise prices a little. When you have people pissing away at least $10 a day on UberEats delivery fees and tips alone, a $0.50-$1 increase on every item in a 24 hours store would be chump change for a lot of people.

The height increase is a good news to help make up for the possible height decrease next door, but Im hoping this is just a placeholder design, because it's unacceptable. It's lower quality than most high rise designs in the 905. It looks like it was designed in 15 minutes. And the cheap...

I wouldnt mind seeing the heritage buildings moved to inside an atrium or courtyard of the proposed development.

24 hours is refreshing. Almost everything in Toronto closes at 8pm these days despite the demand for 24 hours.

    Toronto Toronto | 200 Russell Hill | 30.5m | 5s | Hirsh Development Group | Rafael + Bigauskas

Decent materials but awkward proportions. Not enough space above the 4th floor window and the circular accents on the edge of the windows on the first floor are unnecessary. The developer should have looked to how RAMSA handled these windows on 1 St Thomas. Even St Gabriels Village on Sheppard...

The units here are really beautiful. Wish there were developers putting up units of similar caliber with 50% less living/dining/bedroom space so I could afford it. Not to sound like Im not greatful for my current place.

In most cases I really like raw concrete in hard lofts but in entry level/mid market standard condos they seem to give an aura (no pun intended) of "too cool to care" sales representatives & investors.

    Toronto Toronto | 120 Willowdale Avenue | ?m | 9s | Skale | Richard Wengle

There is a precendent at 181 East Condos at Sheppard Ave E and Willowdale that could lead to OMB approval. Especially with the housing shortage situation. Are you sure parsa capital group is the developer? I thought there was an agreement for Skale to use them as the listing brokerage to sell...
