I have merged the Edge Towers and Oro at Edge Towers threads into one, as most members are not distinguishing between the second and third phases when posting photo updates. The Database files, the one for phases one and two, and the one for phase three (Oro), are now both attached at the top of each page of this combined thread.

So the second tower has topped out. I thought it being 10 floors taller would make it much taller than the first one (30 vs 40 floors which is 33% more.)

Edit: based on a rough count from the photos above, tower 1 is not 30 but 36 or 37 floors. The db info is still showing the original counts.

I'm pretty sure that phase one ended up as 35 storeys with 2 floors of mechanical penthouse above, while phase two has topped off with 40 storeys and 2 levels of mechanical penthouse above it!

@interchange42 thank you for this. In some cases separate threads are warranted but in this scenario when we have three buildings that are pretty much identical, being built almost simultaneously, a stone's throw apart, it just makes sense for one thread.

I shooting the elevator shaft from a distance and according to the floor markings on it, there are 40 residential floors as plan and 2 mechanical floors. To me, this is an 42 story building as every floor is part of the building regardless if its residential or not while UT and other places go by residential floors only.

@Paclo The Jib Crane was installed today to remove T2 tower Crane. The tower crane could be down this weekend or early next week

Shot the tower from Dundas and had the boom on the Jib Crane and looks like it wasn't installed on the 6 when I shoot it

There are now 2 large Jib Cranes on the roof, not the standard Large with the small removing the large one.

@Paclo T2 has lost the crane for it with the first part coming down Monday I expect and the rest today. No camera with me today to get shots of the last parts of it coming down.

It is set back from the street by a fair distance like the other towers in the park around it.

The petro Canada 70+ floor tower at burnamthorpe doesn’t have much room to be a tower in the park. What about 3606 Hurontario. I understand the towers on the east side which are decades old being a tower in the park but new ones not so much. Alba is start to change that error.
