Photos taken today, Friday (Mar. 7). Two visits, when it was cloudy around 10am, then sunny in the afternoon around 3:30. Movement at the top since my post last Friday, as the super column forms have moved up and the core looks like it is at level 81, whose roof is at 282m, if I read the plans correctly. That would put 1 Bloor past the St. Regis at 276 m (the former Trump Tower) and now behind only 1st Canadian Place at 298 m. Those blue scaffolds at top are being moved about on the west face, and we can see the 4th mechanical level for the first time. The latest set of hangers has been partially installed, going from the floor of level 71 to the top of level 76, on two corners, the NW and SW. Below, the Rail Climbing Systems installing the skin are where they were a week ago, at level 55, with the smaller one on the south face at 52. And at the 1st mechanical level, a third corner louvre section is now visible, on the SE corner, all corners now visible save for the SW corner.
Starting with the view from Yonge at Dundas, then up to Norman Jewison Park, north of Gloucester, east of Yonge, the view from Charles east of Yonge with closer looks at the top, and a view of the new corner louvre on the 1st mechanical level (mixing shots taken in the morning and the afternoon). The view from by Holt Renfrew on Bloor, west of Yonge, with a tighter shot of the top where the re-positioned scaffolds offer a view of the 4th mechanical leve, and the two newly installed hangers are visiblel. The view from Cumberland east of Bay, including another tight shot of the top. The view from the NE corner of Yonge and Bloor, then from below the east face, and finally the view from the SW off Queen's Pk Cres W., north of Hoskin.

One Bloor West (The One) "time-lapse"
From October, 2020, as above-ground construction started in earnest at The One (1 Bloor W.) in Toronto. More or less a weekly photo usually taken on a Friday, with some gaps during early-on construction hiatuses. The initial photographs are from 2015, during demolition at the site, 2018, during...
