Noticed Don Valley station’s entrance signage was gone this morning. New entrance signage potentially coming again?

This morning, this entrance still looked like this. In late afternoon, a new sign had appeared! Sorry, no picture, maybe I'll take one tomorrow, weather permitting.
From what I can see, comparing it to an older photo, changes are: (1) There is a red box around the whole sign, which wasn't there before (and I think it looks better now),
and (2) They added a "5" in a circle - in red! (The line is officially orange!)
Also, I was looking at a bust stop next to this entrance, and it has a new sticker with 5 in circle (in orange this time), and also says "Line 5 shuttle bus" (or something like that). I will try to get a pic of that too.
Also also, last week Kelson posted a picture of the frame for a new structure at the corner of Don Mills and Wynford (pictured below), and I said I think it's one of those big white semi-circular storage sheds seen on other Metrolinx construction sites. It is now covered over and ready for business. Another thing to take a picture of tomorrow.

I was on the 505 Streetcar on Monday mid-afternoon going to grab the subway. At All Saints Church there were people openly shooting up drugs, lighting up glass crack pipes, addicts laying across the sidewalk. Meanwhile the police just drive on by, as if drug possession and use is not a crime. I swear, it’s the churches in downtown east that are the epicentre of the homeless industrial complex that enables all this madness.

I went to law school at York. I'm not concerned about taking my kid to Jane and Finch, especially during the hours he's awake.

Meanwhile the police just drive on by, as if drug possession and use is not a crime.

Drug possession and use is not treated as a crime. I'm pretty sure it's official (maybe not "OFFICIAL" official) TPS policy that you would never be charged for drug possession if that was the only offence you're committing at the time (though they will tag it on if you are committing another offence). They don't have the resources to round up everyone out there in possession of drugs, and we wouldn't want to spend the kind of money it would take to resource that.

One of my friends also mentioned that the Metrolinx symbol seemed red compared to the TTC. Checking the wayfinding standards:

• Metrolinx (PDF page 94) says the colour is Pantone 165 C or #d24619
• TTC (PDF page 13) is using Pantone 021 or #eb8738

The difference is larger than I expected:

seriously wtf....did they not use all of their budget and resources already? why are they wasting money and time to redo a sign that hasnt even seen a day of service yet?

What even is that new Don Valley sign? Which standard is this? It’s using the old LRT logo with Mx style roundels. Is there still an Entro tean at Crosslinx designing, updating, and printing their own signage standards? Why???

The amount of times that signs been changed is a succinct way to describe this whole transit line, from start to...whatever its finished state becomes/ is declared as.

I was trying to figure out what changed between your pic and what I posted on Nov 15 and it's literally just that the red border is thicker. MX needs to make up its mind

We saw these signs this morning and my son was sooooooooo excited. Now I'll have to go up to Finch to ride the streetcar. Any destinations up there for a six year old?

Plaza Latina seems like the most interesting thing along that stretch of Finch!
