The owner of the Shawarma shop La Casbah in Agora told me he was told by his landlord that the second phase of Agora will start right after these are finished. I'm very excited to see Agora built out, it's my favourite multiuse project ever built in the region.

Understandable from Junic of doing that. Really hope phase 2 of parc centrale will follow soon cuz the area needs it badly. Can't wait to see phase 2 of agora, have been a while that phase is done. Theres so much space left around agora own by junic that they probably will be able to add 2000-3000 units if they build like the panora. Would be awesome if theres a phase 3 of agora on the vast empty land on the other side of atmosphere

I would assume phase 2 will have retail as well.

Yes, it will have all ground floor retail.

All of these developments are amazing, but it's going to be hell for a few years until the tram (hopefully) arrives. A single lane road with several roundabout bottlenecks is just untenable. It was horrible when I lived in the neighborhood a few years ago, and that was before the thousands of new units built/UC since.

Do you think the tram will happen?

If the Federal Liberal Government holds on for another 4-6 years, then probably. That said, Quebec Government could also kill it with the CAQ pulling the carpet from under us on several big projects and the PQ being laser focused on separation instead of, you know, improving the lives of Quebeckers. PSPP seems very Trumpian/Poilievre in his thinking (punish those who disagree with him).
