The latest docs had the 21s as phase 1 on the Mandarin site, a 30s as phase 2, and now they are talking about two towers next to this site. I think four total.
You think four? Even three towers would be tight. Site plan above includes both Mandarin and Grace O'Malley's.

Oh you're totally right, my bad.. so no 30s tower it seems. That's really too bad. We're basically getting Talisman 2.0 without the midrise.
Yeah. It's weird how many times they changed the plan. I was really happy with the last one submitted a few months ago. I guess this will still provide a bit of height variety, especially with Luxo across the street. Hope the towers will be in a triangular formation instead of in-line like the Talisman.

It will certainly look good if Luxo builds out the other two towers as planned, and that Vancouver developer that's building the midrise next to Luxo builds that 20s phase 2 tower. It's too bad about the high voltage lines running across the Claude Chips lot on the corner next to Luxo, though. It would be nice to see a tower there as well.

I guess that two 30s tower project in the traffic island across from The Bay's parkade is dead. I wonder what will be proposed in 'Downtown Cyrville' next?

This is approximately what we are looking at based on the OBJ article.

Mandarin Plaza is gone. Grace O'Malley's is still there, but based on equipment positioning, I imagine it will be be next.

Grace O'Malley's is gone. Hard to see much because of the hoarding, but there's an excavator and a few piles of dirt peaking from behind.

The fence in front of the Grace O'Malley's was open this morning for dump trucks. Still tough to see into the site but it looked pretty flat inside.
