I hope the committee just rejects this bridge or approves NO bridge. The project was nicer when they had that multi-level faux bridge that didn't actually connect.

Although it's sad to see the previous glass boxes design go, I certainly agree with Leiper here, this is still a great project, one that will be transformative for the Westboro skyline.

Agreed. The cutbacks are disappointing for sure, but it's still a very good project and it will add a lot of height and units. It also still looks pretty good and on top of that, will keep that extension of our skyline going from CBD to Lebreton to Tunneys to Westboro. It's good.

If that Tunney's redevelop goes through, we could get a really continuous looking skyline.

Came across this today and couldn’t help but think of Ottawa’s planning bureaucracy and processes….

And we're tearing down buildings that look like the factory for buildings that look like that suburban residential building.

they are doing some digging behind the curling club, I imagine some utility stuff?

curious when this will get approved and when they'll demo the curling club.

Already approved. They initially wanted a 2025 start I believe, but who knows at this point.

Westboro is about to get some serious bulk if this new app gets approved. 1x40s, 2x29s towers right next door to these towers.

Devapp will be up tomorrow:
looks nice, but its park river so prob not happening!

Too bad the project doesn't include 337 Tweedsmuir, there could have been a pathway connecting Lion's park with the McCrae parkette.
