Lots of cuts by WS to YEG again. ATL got pushed back to the end of June from the end of April. SEA got pushed back to the end of June from the middle of May. And for some reason we lose Abbotsford for two months from mid-April to mid-June.
But we got Kamloops back 3x weekly starting in May![]()
It is just tough knowing that no matter how large the Edmonton metro gets, we will always be a spoke. 1.7M metro and growing . . . and it appears that YEG metro will never be enough because WS/AC love our bums filling seats from their hubs.Hub and spoke airlines doing hub and spoke things.

Everything changes and evolves.Hub and spoke is here to stay. But in all honesty, our geography, climate, lack of attractions, lack of major businesses, lack of major corporate events are what's holding YEG back.
How do you create a business case for more airline seat capacity when outside demand is very limited.
