Maybe The Keg could replace it seems like a good spot for one
I've also just noticed that Pickle Barrel has Steak on the menu, but who thinks to go there for Steak?I've only ate at Moxie's once, which was using a gift card and that was over a year ago. It already felt around half empty during dinner service. Cheesecake Factory must've crushed a lot of the competition at Yorkdale when it opened
The Pickle Barrel is one of those places you go when meeting up with friends (but not close friends) and you all can't agree on a place. They have a bit of everything on the menu, but nothing good. Wasn't always like that though, for those that remember the original Jewish restaurant at Leslie/Cummer.I've also just noticed that Pickle Barrel has Steak on the menu, but who thinks to go there for Steak?
If a Steak house opens up where Moxies was, that will further erase (from the mind) the very idea of going to Pickle Barrel for a Steak dinner.
Not ‘luxury’ enough? Toronto's Yorkdale mall owners fight to keep Fairweather out
Why they can’t give that a try? Maybe that might be a mid upscale tenant! Not ‘luxury’ enough? Toronto's Yorkdale mall owners fight to keep Fairweather out
What "fight"? They can just refuse them the lease...Not ‘luxury’ enough? Toronto's Yorkdale mall owners fight to keep Fairweather out
It's in the article. The company looking to recover money for the Bay bankruptcy is responsible for finding someone to take over the lease. What "fight"? They can just refuse them the lease...
Its not the same level but it's definitely not luxuryUrban Behaviour maybe. I suspect with how often it gets moved they don't want it there either. H&M is not the same level as Fairweather brands.
