TTC notice on January 22, 2025.

It’s not even open yet and there’s signal issues!

Apologies if this has been previously posted, this is a busy thread!

But a user, maxcentury, on Reddit posted updated signage at Cedarvale Station which includes the span of service (start to end times each day) for the Crosstown.

I trust this is for a soft opening only as that is a very early closure.
This is the output at Don Valley.

So if these aren't red herrings, then they imply an initial ~20-22minute travel time between Cedarvale and Don Valley.

(There is a similar sign at Kennedy that was operational when I was there ~1.5mos ago. Don't remember the time there, but do I remember it also said Line 5 would operate @ 5-6 minutes)

There are 9 stations between Don Valley and Cedarvale.

22 minutes / 9 stations = 2m 20s per station (i.e., travelling + dwell time). That seems pretty good.

Most people coming from the east will get off at Eglinton. There are 5 stations between Don Valley and Eglinton.

2.33 minutes * 5 stations = 11m 40s to get from Don Valley to Eglinton. That will be much quicker than the bus.

This is pretty promising if the TTC can adhere to these times, and that's a massive IF
