Yup. Clouds are water droplets and if they are thin enough that light can pass through, and the sun is at the right orintation, the droplets can act like prisms, just like in a rainbow, parahelion/sun dog, etc.

Looks like snowfall record for downtown Toronto has been broken!

The previous record was 58.4 cm on December 25-26, 1872. The new record is 61 cm on January 25-26, 2026!

I had to be at work yesterday, and it was surprisingly easy to get in by TTC. Today's commute was busier.
