Rumor is that the existing old building will be demolished imminently within the coming days. Once the building is demolished, the plan is to move straight into excavation and construction of the new building.
 
Strolled by today. My observations are:

1. Installation of hoarding on Somerset is complete.
2. Former ramp to the door of the former antique store is demolished and lying in a pile of rubble on the ground below.
3. Taggart labeled shovel is parked at the rear of the building by city view drive.
4. No activity at time of observation.

Glad to see the staircase has been retained. The section of building around that staircase looks fantastic. Looks quite good overall.
 
Quite happy with this one overall. Sketchy dealings in Carlsbad Springs with the Mayor, Taggart generally does pretty good work when it comes to mid-rises.
