They have recently been building up the corner on the south east side of the slip. This was certainly not built up like this a few weeks ago. Taken today...

Good catch @GameOnBrad I assume they will do this all along east side of the slip and for a bit on the west end of the Keating Channel and then, when it warms up and concrete can be more easily poured, will add a concrete 'topping".

Last I read, Keating Channel Pedestrian Bridge was scheduled to be installed sometime this year. No specific date yet, though.

I'll believe it when I see it. There is so much construction left to be done where the bridge will start and end, I can't picture it being ready for use this year

Late this year or early next. Probably October........ (fingers crossed), but it may not open til spring, TBD.

I can't wait until Sugar Beach is connected to Promontory Park (forgot what the new name is). But the other bridge is no doubt many years out.

I really want to see plans for the area around the slip. That concert hall looking building in all the renders is such a temporary tease. I need to see something other than the sheer wall of towers being thrown up along Queens Quay. I need something more than condo lobbies and empty storefronts.

There are plenty of condos on the way. That particular lot on the waterfront south/SW of the silos and near the future pedestrian bridge should be a cultural/civic/tourist landmark.

And how will people get there with no plans still for the lrt?

Don’t know there has to be one.

But if so, then sit and wait until there is an LRT as that land is one of the last pieces of prime waterfront and should be the site of a landmark and not just another condo.
