Man, the Japanese place that took over the Torch space is already gone due to rent non-payment.

^ also that wine bar never opened (to be fair, it's a cursed location, everything north of Wellesley towards the 519 is sketchy now).

An INS market looks to be opening where Pizza Studio was.
What's with all these INS markets opening up downtown? They are the biggest ripoff! Of course, convenience stores have always been on the expensive side, but INS is next level ripoff. The last time I was in an INS was the store on Carlton Street and the price tags for most of the products had been removed. When I asked the price for the item I had in mind, I could understand why. When that location first opened, I had bought a bag of caramelized popcorn for an advertised price which was not so bad. The next time I went to buy the same bag of caramelized popcorn just a few weeks later all the prices had been removed from the shelves and when I asked the price it was almost TWICE what I had paid just a few weeks before. A typical bait-and-switch. I would advise avoiding INS markets. They don't deserve to stay in business. Meanwhile in the same space of time, we lost our only 7-11 in downtown. What is happening to the retail landscape in downtown Toronto?
