Office building at 1900 Dundas St. West at Sterling Rd. is being demolished. Believe it is owned by Nestle, formerly leased by City of Toronto. Maybe an extension to the chocolate factory coming? Anyone know what's coming here?

Couldn't find an existing thread. Please move to appropriate place there is one :)

My guess is that the owners of this are preparing for redevelopment of some type beyond manufacturing. This is also directly connected to what is being planned for the nearby Osmington site on the south side of Dundas West.

Question: Are the Nestle factory buildings suitable for other uses? Stores, venues?

Unsurprising. The building had been for sale for at least a half decade before this demo.
Really surprised more of these factory operations in older parts of Toronto haven't picked up and moved to Vaughn or Milton.
And I hope they never do. It's important to have uses like this in a vibrant City.

I expect to see a severance application for this ‘parking lot’ backed up by an alternate plan to sell the entire footprint if denied. Alternatively this could be replacing the existing parking on the east side to develop. Piecemeal.

FYI: 800m radius from Landsdowne GO Station for reference:
