Ladies and gentlemen... rejoice
Similar to Finch... reduced hours, no TSPYes! Praise be unto the lord.
What do they mean by phased opening? Is the entirety of the line going to be open or are they going to leave out parts?
Full transit signal priority won't happen until May, while the initial operations will see reduced hours (until 11 PM) and slightly reduced frequencies.Yes! Praise be unto the lord.

It's confusing, because by phased opening I would assume they mean that only certain sections of the line will be open inititally.Yes! Praise be unto the lord.

Regarding tsp, ttc says that it will be used intermittently on opening day but i suspect they are referring to tsp if trams are running behind schedule but no details were really provided here so its hard to say.Full transit signal priority won't happen until May, while the initial operations will see reduced hours (until 11 PM) and slightly reduced frequencies.
In any case, it's about time they finally confirmed the February 8 opening!
Based on out understanding on line 6s phased opening, it just means less frequency, less operating hours, etc. It's confusing, because by phased opening I would assume they mean that only certain sections of the line will be open inititally.
What it means is after 11 PM, there will be shuttle buses for first 6 months.Yes! Praise be unto the lord.

No, we gotta make room for the people who are gonna spend the next month demanding that the world give them credit for the brave, bold, genius prediction that a transit line which opened five years behind schedule might have a shaky launch. Finally, this thread can be retired.
I think the schedule shown a page or so back showed LRT service until 11, and buses starting at 10:00 pm...What it means is after 11 PM, there will be shuttle buses for first 6 months.

I wish it were so, but I am afraid it will not be.Finally, this thread can be retired.
Only if we didn't learn any of the lessons from Line 6.Finally, this thread can be retired.
