Nice looking project, but for me even more exciting seeing Eagle grow and evolve as a company, taking on bigger and more complex projects like this.

I especially like the texturing on the blank vertical walls.

Eagle has lots coming down the pipe in Edm, but an issue they have is they don’t have the capacity to do all the precast for everything all at once.

Love this. Big step up from the rest of the Eagle stuff at Century Park, and if this is a sign of things to come for the rest of the development, I'm a fan. Good balance of higher level of design without getting so high-class that we never see it built or value engineered down given the realities of our market.

It's a weird and wild time in Edmonton where the burbs are getting 16 storey concrete builds and downtown is getting 6 storey stick frames
One day, it will pay off. The density that the suburbs will eventually reach will be unmatched. It will make the city as a whole a more vibrant and enjoyable place to be especially if restaurants and bars are integrated near these buildings. As for Downtown, it will eventually become the only affordable place to build, setting the stage for its own boom. It may take a few years but downtown will see a major construction boom as the city grows.

We're getting close to an inflection point downtown. We have almost 3000 residential units in either construction or development permit stages, and that's not even counting the possible projects from the Student Housing Fund, the future Attainable Housing Incentive and whatever else comes down the pipeline.

Although its development has been drawn out and had its fits and starts over the years, Century Park is a smart place to build with its very good LRT and road connections.

Downtown has also had its fits and starts over the years. While it is in a lower gear now things are still moving ahead and I feel in a few years or so there will also be a big increase in activity.
