Is it right to assume they could still put a streetcar loop into the original Kipling station as was originally envisioned, with cross-platform connect to the buses? The best way to attack it might be to put a streetcar barn into the Purolator lands, and have the line come off the Kipling ROW at North Queen, then travel up to Kipling at the west end of the southern station parking lot. Cheapest would probably be a surface loop in that parking lot instead of a flyover, but in-station connection might be worth it. Alternatively, the line could come off Queensway at the bridge over the MX spur, and follow that line up through to a barn.Queensway extended to Sherway. Kipling from the Lake Shore to Dundas
I will say no for any loop at Kipling.I

What about the portions of Lines 5 and 6 that go under Hydro One corridors? Line 5 crosses the Gatineau corridor near Vic Park, and Line 6 crosses the Humber-Pearson corridor by Weston rd.Based on the fact the Hydro One kill the idea of having a LRT line from Hurontario to Kipling during the EA of the Hurontario Line. Hydro One will not allow any overhead system under their wires for Kipling.
The south parking lot is the best location for a loop bur cross under Hydro One east lines. Going duel end for cars, you could tunnel under the wires and connect with the station itself at a cheaper cost as well been easier to do than a loop.,
Even using the Canpa Sub, you are dealing with more Hydro One overhead system.
I believe the main problem is when a line of conducting material (steel rail lines, overhead electricity supply wires) runs parallel with overhead electric transmission wires, a current will be induced in the line. With rail lines you can earth them I guess, but with the OCS you're trying to distribute a DC voltage that stays in a range and the induced current could "fry" the LRV's electric equipment. What about the portions of Lines 5 and 6 that go under Hydro One corridors?
