126 york could have been my fav if they went with real bricks.Personally I really like 126 York st. I enjoy the set back design and I think they did the heritage aspect quite well.

I agree they did very well with the heritage aspect. For me it's the fake brick precast on the new portion and the cheap balcony glass that's disappointing.Personally I really like 126 York st. I enjoy the set back design and I think they did the heritage aspect quite well.
Certainly better than the great wall of Rideau with a little more space between towers and variety in the build form, but still not great. No one in this city (at least politicians or developers) realizes taller point towers are better than shorter clumps.Definitely a weirdo build lol, but Claridge has had me hopeful as of late. I think it will be a good addition.
But that clump is looking very much Kowloon wall-ish. Harley, you are right about the Rideau Clump LOL. I mean, I am at the very least glad Rideau is getting more density, but man... that clump lol.
True. East Market towers were among the first of the new era and they still look good.crazy how to this day.... the east market towers are my fav in the byward !
That would be amazing, but you know; clump.Man I know the current design of 275 Rideau is looking quite promising, but I really wish they shot for like 35-40 floors.
Call me crazy as well but I think it'd be cool if they took down the buildings on this block @Rideau and Cumberland:

And put up two, maybe three if they can fit, 35/40/45 floor skinny buildings with nice podiums. I know there is absolutely no way it would happen but if this was cities skylines it's what I would have done![]()
Claridge really up there game i doubt it would be charcoal.Yeah i dont think its gonna be all glass building anymore probably gonna be charcoal brick classic bait and switch
