Wonder if this will only be a partial demo and the plan is to just cap the foundation/substructure for possible reuse in a later development?

Otherwise I am pretty sure the u/g parking is under a fair portion of the surface lot so a full demo here would leave a pretty big ugly hole in the hill side. Not ideal given there’s not much evidence Procura will be in a rush to build anything here.

This is indeed what is happening - new build will be on top of the existing foundation.
 
Really? That parkade was decrepit and exceptionally short from what I recall, but I suppose that the geotechnical and original foundations would be too costly to replicate?!?

Unsure if the parkade itself will remain but I have been told that the foundations on the slope are staying as complete demolition is too risky/expensive.
