The development application proposes three (3) high-rise towers consisting of: two (2) residential towers at 30 and 40-storeys in height, and one (1) mixed-use tower at 35-storeys in height consisting of retail at grade, office within the podium, and residential on the upper levels. A total of 516 underground vehicular parking spaces are proposed, while a total of 1,254 bicycle spaces are proposed. Each building will provide indoor communal amenity spaces, and private balconies for each residential unit.

Would be great for Orleans' little "downtown". Hope another cinema chain takes over the old space next door.

Oooh yeah I love that height and they look good!! More of this please. Especially in Orleans, Kanata, Riverside South, and Barrhaven. The most density nodes in each of these "wards" is exactly what we need, especially with Stage 2 and 3.

Projects in Orleans haven't moved at all other than the one at St. Joseph and Duford. I was really hoping the train would be a catalyst for actual builds, not just proposals.

New documents went up today on Devapps. They don't open yet so, probably viewable in the next day or two.

"Forum is proposing to develop four (4) high-rise buildings and one (1) mid-rise building ranging from 9-storeys to 40-storeys in building height. Ground oriented townhouse dwellings are proposed along Brisebois Crescent to create an animated and pedestrian oriented neighbourhood edge. The proposed development will include approximately one thousand five hundred (1,500} residential dwellings, a new community centre, and ground floor commercial and retail spaces. A separate Site Plan Control application will be filed for the Subject Site when the details of the proposed residential and mixed-use development are finalized."

Wow, this is a pretty nice proposal for some seriously underutilized land in the area. I love the cantilever look, height variety, and varying colours on the towers, especially the green one. Hopefully this isn't value engineered too much as it goes through the approval process. If this does go ahead along with the adjacent Bayview Group towers and the Groupe Maurice retirement complex further west at 211 Centrum, Orleans will quickly have its own downtown skyline hub to boast with some nice variety in height and architecture. Now we just need the damn LRT to get up and running and we're off to the races!

Alright all of these are great. Lots of great proposals, the LRT effect is in play.

Now someone, one of these developments need to start building PLEASE lol.

I started reading the UDRP and they are suggesting reducing/removing the cantilever look as well as reducing the height of the 9s to a 6s. Not sure I agree w/ them on this.
