Just terrible. Belongs outside the Henday.
Are they still planning to retain the old building at least?

As of early last year, Beljan's plan was to preserve it and have it designated. I haven't heard anything since.Just terrible. Belongs outside the Henday.

This was after already getting one round of feedback from the EDC? These people are incorrigible.
It wouldn't be bad for some other locations, perhaps suburban ones but not great for here. I wish we had stronger or more stringent rules for new development in areas with historic buildings. This was after already getting one round of feedback from the EDC? These people are incorrigible.

This looks like the multifamily version of the houses I built in The Sims when I was 10.Looks like it's still the plan. They also cite the Strat hotel and the adjacent concrete block apartment as design inspiration, lol.

Well, I am "inspired" by Warren Buffet, but that doesn't make me a billionaire. If they had windows similar to the Strathcona, the roof was higher and uninterupted perhaps, or if it had balconies of the adjacent appartment.Beljan should stick to restoration projects. This is a trash proposal that doesn't belong in Edmonton.
